About Me

My photo
Hi I am a Christian, a nurse, the mother of two grown children and two grand daughters, one grandson, and 3 dogs. I love people and have a huge heart. So why am I blogging? Well I've been told that I need to publish my writings. This seemed to be the easiest way to do that. Also, I want to get out there and live life to the fullest. Empty nests are great because now I get to explore the world. I'm starting right here on my computer. So come along with me and as I learn to fly we'll soar together!

How many of us would be left here in this room if God sifted us like he did the army of Gidion
How many are serious about their commitment to the Lord.
God's eyes are going to and fro throughout the earth searching for someone that He can use for His purpose.

Kingdom equity
Time of waiting, being prepared
Purpose and calling
He is sufficient, I shall not want.

There will be suffering
Training and building kingdom equity.

I was put on this earth to love.
How and where I do this is determined by the place that God puts me and who He brings into my life.
I have heard His heart cry for His people that are captive to slavery in Egypt.  He wants to set His people free.

Egypt represents a place of slavery, the old life and what clings to us as we make our way to the kingdom.  There are lots of habits and ways of thinking that are not immediately changed when we decide to give our lives to Christ.  Because of this and because we are all still living with the sin nature, we often tend to try to make ourselfs better by cleaning up our own act, so that we appear what we believe we should look like.
We often tend to find others that fit our idea of what a Christian should look like and those are the ones that we hang with.  Sometimes because of this we become content to appear clean, act clean, and associate with others that are the same.
I think that when we come out of Egypt we all need to look at one another and understand that we come from the same place.  But that we are also going to the same place.  And rather than becoming attatched to others who appear like ourselves we need to embrace each other right were we are.  We also need to allow the Holy Spirit to do His job of cleaning us up.  We need a period of growth and we need to give each other the same grace that our Lord has given us.

So yeah,
I wanna be Your puppet Jesus
Don’t wanna play no facebook farm games
I wanna do just what You want me to
Not wasting time in triviality

Nothin else will do it for me
Time spent distractions ain’t no fun
Cause too many people livin out there lonely
Needin to know Your love, Your love.

So make me be Your puppet Jesus
Put me where You want me to be
Pull the strings that move me with Your will
You open and close my mouth, Your words

Ain’t gonna play no facebook farm games
Gonna let You pull the strings of my life now
Ain’t gonna waste no more time just playin
Gonna love them in Your Name – Your Name

Gonna love them in Your Name – Your Name
Gonna love them in Your Name – Your Name
All of them
Gonna love them in Your Name – Your Name
Gonna love them in Your Name – Your Name
All of them

Well maybe not quite rap, but yeah, no more facebook farmgames!
