you know, loving
anyone else first is such a burden on them. there is a sense that they know
they cannot fulfil the need and they both try to, but also rebel against it.
the books talk about adam putting eve before God. and in essence that's what he
did in the garden. he chose her instead of God by going along with her. and
she could never fill His place so she both loved the man for his chosing her and
hated him for making her responsible for his happiness. and as a mom, if i love
my children more than God i'm putting them in the exact same place. they
understand on a deep level that things are out of kilter and they can't be what
i need. too much pressure for them.
having them even without a mate is a lot of pressure on them.
it's so wrong to raise kids without both
parents. there is a need in a kid to see that they are not first or even
second, ya know?
i can only thank Jesus for getting my kids through.
