The intimacy of knowing God is often revealed by His creation: when He draws us and reveals Himself to us it is often by looking within.  It is blasphemous to reject part of God – when we know or learn of parts of Him – i.e. that physical love and intimacy is a part of Him.  He created us in His image and that includes what has been placed in us that is a desire for intimacy and to be known and to know each other and Him.  It is how He reveals Himself to us by seeing His creation and understanding His person through it.


I am Yours oh LORD
Your banner over me is Love
I am shielded by Your arms
Protected by Your Name
The Name above all names
Who sacrificed His blood
In worship to the Father
Your Holy gift of grace
To bring me to Yourself
Redeemed to be Your own
And born again as Yours
From the darkness of my sin
You shine Your light of mercy
That Your presence I may know
I am Yours oh LORD
Your provision all I need
To draw me close to You
Revealing who You are
And opening up my heart
To live in Light and Truth
To always be Your own
